Alexandra Secondary School in Speightstown Barbados has a class of students taking part in a Junior Coral Reef Ambassador programme. These students are undergoing a series of in water, coastal and classroom training in areas of water quality, reef ecology, snorkelling, creature identification, marine life injuries and more. Classes have been designed and are being conducted by a variety of University of the West Indies CERMES staff, students and graduates. These Ambassadors passed through Barbados Blue for their marine creature identification, snorkelling session (with Angie) and for an intorduction to first aid for marine life injuries (Christine).
